Tom Blackmore and I are putting on an Art Exhibit together at the Venue in Peterborough. Tom is a long time friend from back in the days of PCVS highschool and a talented artist.  His local landscape paintings are a great complement to my charcoal drawings of Canadian wildlife and it is going to be a fun show! Local musical talent Beau Dixon and Kate Suhr are going to be performing on the opening night – Friday April 29th!

A big thanks to Dennis Nephin for helping us organize this event and getting some local awareness for our highschool PCVS which is in danger of being closed down. Also for making this a fundraiser for the Howard Hospital which is a Salvation Army Hospital in rural Zimbabwe that was established in 1923. The hospital sees over 300 people each day in its ancient and crumbling facility. If not for the generosity of international donations, the hospital would likely close its doors. So come on out to a fun night and a good cause

One of my best friends, Katie Suhr and I teamed up to put on an art show/concert at Splice with the help of Ashley Domm and Lang Freeman. We’re Very pumped that everyone came out to support us! We’d really like to thank everyone for coming out and we had a blast. We hope everyone enjoyed their martinis

The Art Exhibit took place at Splice lounge and restaurant on Thursday January 28th. I exhibited my latest series of high voltage colour abstractions on canvas. Katie Suhr of Peterborough Ontario sang a set of original/cover songs along with Tiffany Hanus and Joshua Cockerill, together they put on an acoustic folk/country concert. Kate and I are both graduates from Peterborough Collegiate (PCVS high school) who went on to University in the arts. I got a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Windsor School of Arts, and Kate took singing at Humber College, Tiff and Josh are her classmates. 

A huge thanks to Josh and Tiff for coming from Toronto to perform with Katie.
